The DHZ series disc centrifuges for vegetable oil refining are widely used in continuous degumming, neutralizing, dewaxing, and washing of vegetable oils.

The separated material enters the separator drum where strong centrifugal force separates the hybrid liquid. The material passes through separation partitions consisting of disk strings, with neutral holes in the disk serving as separating surfaces.

Liquid with higher specific gravity (heavy phase) moves outward along the disk wall, with heavy residue accumulating in the residue-settling area and soap residue flowing toward the large centripetal pump. Liquid with lower specific gravity (light phase) moves inward and upward along the disk wall, assembling at the small centripetal pump. Both phases are output separately through their respective pumps.
